BENGAL KITTENS FOR SALE PUCHASE APPLICATION
The purpose of our standard application for Bengal kittens for sale and adoptees is to help us obtain a brief profile of the potential homes for our kitties. We are located in Maryland, the National Capitol area.
We would like to hear your expectations of a Bengal kitten for yourself or family. Bengal kittens are also individuals. We want each kitten to make a successful transition into it's new home.
1. Please let us know where you heard about us.....
2. Have you had a cat(s) before, and if so, was it a purebred?
3. Have you ever had kittens, or was your cat neutered or spayed?
4. If you've had cats before, why did you give them up?
6. Have you ever had a cat declawed?
7. Have you ever had a cat that had a serious disease, such as cardiomyopathy, kidney disease, cataracts, etc.? Are you familiar with other feline diseases, such as FeLV, FIV, FIP?
8. Who is your "family vet"?
9. Have you done any research on the Bengal breed?
10. What are your expectations of a companion cat? For example, are you
looking for a cat:
a. Who will want to be around you all the time and want to sleep with you;
b. That's playful and will interact and ask you to play with him frequently;
c. That might be vocal or carry on a "conversation" with you;
d. That will "hang out" and be around, but will be fairly independent;
e. That will be able to spend time outdoors when you aren't home to entertain him;
f. That is pretty to look at, but not very active and "low maintenance."
g. A cat that gets along with other cats and dogs.
h. A cat that is "doglike" in its loyalty and prefers you alone..
i. Have you thought about initial and future cost, and care your new kitten/cat will require?

APP FOR ADOPTION OF A RETIRED BENGAL - (This is an adaptation of a rescue cat contract.)
This application is to help determine if the proposed adoption is in the best interest of both the kitten/cat and your family.
The ultimate purpose of this application is to find the best possible homes for the kitten/cat. The kitten/cat will be completely dependent on you for his/her health, happiness and love. The contract is our written agreement of the terms and conditions under which the kitten/cat is given into your care.
Please be patient with our concern for the kitten/cat's well being. We wish only the very best for you and the kitten/cat.
All questions must be answered as completely and honestly as possible.
We reserve the right to refuse any sale or adoption that is not in the best interest of any kitten/cat.

Once the 72-hour exam has been completed, if your new kitten/cat becomes sick, you have the options to have kitten/cat treated at your own expense by a licensed veterinarian, or return kitten/cat to Rescue.
